SWING BY

GILES DEACON

A rocker designed by fashion icon Giles Deacon was never going to be an ordinary affair.

His fabric collection with Sanderson was the starting point- a broad and alluring family of modern-day chintzes and stripes that reflect his playful spirit and easy elegance.

The final design is a vision in Lakeland Paradis,

an abundant early twentieth-century floral chintz from the Sanderson archive, reimagined in multiple colourways including this delicious Walnut.

The timeless print found its canvas pairing in our new brownish-burgundy, Damson, finished with a vintage silk bullion that looked perfectly in place on such a jazz-era creation.

Giles finished the rocker with piles of scatter cushions: glorious maximalist frills, old-fashioned bolsters and enormous dog beds, never straying from Lakeland Paradis whose decadence defined the spirit of the design.
