Parasols
We are delighted to introduce our new collection of British garden parasols. Designed with an English garden in mind and built to last.
Our octagonal parasols are made to order here in England, upholstered in our ODD canvas, so they make the perfect companion to our rockers. A loose inner canopy can be attached to the underside, in one of ODD's florals or stripes, bringing an unexpected splash of pattern to our classic designs.

DURABLE
Our first consideration was making a parasol that would last for decades to come, structurally sound and robust.
We have worked with a specialist parter to develop the frames, which are made from hardwood sapele, chosen for its durability. The fixtures are in stainless steel, and the opening pulley mechanism is both reliable and a pleasure to use.
We are also offering discreet custom-made stands in brushed stainless steel and protective covers for the canopy. Replacement canopies can also be provided on request.
TIMELESS
Our parasols were designed with a British garden in mind, as much garden umbrella as parasol. The classic octagonal frame has an understated elegance with a slender mast and gently domed finial.
The parasols come in two shapes: with either a scalloped or straight valance. These can be finished with a fringe of your choice.
While ODD's marine canvases are the recommended choice for a waterproof outer canopy, we will also offer fair-weather parasols in our patterned fabrics.
BESPOKE
We are fortunate that making our parasols in England means that we can make them to order, accounting for each customer's preferences.
Like our rockers, our parasols provide an opportunity for pairing ODD's canvases with interior fabrics. A loose inner canopy in one of our florals or stripes can be attached to the underside of the parasol, providing a decorative ceiling for those underneath.
The parasols can be finished with or without our classic bullion fringe (in 7cm or 10cm), and custom fringes such as the one seen here can be requested, which add much personality.

Fabric choices
THE OUTER CANOPY
The outer canopy is recommended to be in one of our seven classic canvas shades below.
Our heavyweight canvas is a marine-grade polycotton canvas with a density that provides excellent shade and a water-resistant finish, which means it will stand up to showers.
THE INNER CANOPY
The inner canopy, which attaches to each spoke and the hub, can be made in any of our interior fabrics, or even your own material. Since it is detachable, it can be changed with your mood or refreshed after a year.
