We will create something for you as exotic as the inside of a palanquin or you can choose the Original Old Rocker which is as English as a herbaceous border.

Our 'Old Rocker' is a fully upholstered swinging sofa, hung on a frame made entirely of stainless steel with roof and sides in Odd's water and rot resistant canvas.

Our Rockers are handmade in England. The sofa is made in the traditional way, with a beechwood frame and is as comfortable as the very best sofa indoors.

Simple to set up - no tools required.

The above Rocker with an Overall Cover on and zipped up. We recommend that an Overal Cover is put on to keep all your blankets, books and the radio safe from the rain blowing in.

Cover still on with front panel flipped over the roof, creating a canvas back. The sofa can be used with the Cover on, providing a back to the Rocker, so even in howling wind and rain you can carry on rocking!

Rock in the City.... Clock off  early and relax in an Old Rocker on a City rooftop ( Shoreditch House has a couple ) but grab a bunch of foxgloves to soften the late arrival home.

Inside Walls and Spring Gaiters are optional extras – available in matching canvas or any of Odd's fabrics, they hide the stainless steel frame. The Sofa's base is the traditional galvanised sprung wire mesh. We keep stock of Rockers in five canvas colours: Sail White, Faded Green, Elephant, Faded Red and Cornish Blue but other colours are available.

KUNE KUNE 'MAROC' in Elephant canvas with the sofa, Inside Walls, Gaiters and Bolsters covered in a soft woven kilim fabric. The fringe is handmade from old sari silk. With large faded old tassles, velvet cushions with pompoms, and painted hardwood Ball Finnials, this Old Rocker is ready to go straight onto a roof terrace in Marrakech.

With the cover on, Rockers make the perfect den where no one can find you.

The arms and back of an Old Rocker can be taken off easily, and the stainless steel frame folds away, so everything can be easily stored during the winter months. Preferably, though, why not move the Rocker indoors and use it as a 'special' sofa? We supply Loose Covers in velvets or hopsacks if you would like to change from canvas, add some extra feather filled cushions, string up some fairy lights and your Rocker will look fantastic for the winter months.

We put Maud velvet Loose Covers and Roof Lining on our Rocker and have it inside during the winter months and with a fire blazing and fairy lights inside, it is the best place for hiding away with a book (Fire retardant liner required when used inside).
